The European Central Bank (ECB) has revealed ten shortlisted designs for the future euro banknotes, and now it's your turn to have a say. You are invited to participate in the online survey by 21 September 2026 and let your voice be heard.
The public's feedback will play an important role in helping the Governing Council choose the final design, expected to be announced by the end of 2026.

The ECB is expected to decide on the final design of the new banknotes, as well as the timetable for their production and issuance, by the end of 2026. Public participation plays a vital role in this process, as the feedback received through the survey will help inform the Governing Council's decision. While the chosen design will reflect the views of people across Europe, it will still take several years before the new euro banknotes enter circulation.
