Other Financial Institutions
"Other Financial Institutions" (OFIs) are institutions that offer money services. They do not hold deposits from the public like regular commercial banks. Instead, they focus on specific money tasks like loans, leasing, or managing investments. Financial institutions, except monetary financial institutions or credit institutions, include investment funds, insurance corporations, pensions funds, lending institutions, financial vehicle corporations, captive financial institutions including holding companies, e-money and payments institutions, and other financial auxiliaries.
