The Bank’s Business Conditions Index shows that in January, annual growth in business activity edged up slightly from the preceding month and stood above its historical average.

According to the Bank’s latest forecasts, Malta’s real GDP growth is set to remain stable at 3.7% over 2026-2028. Compared to the Bank’s previous projections, the outlook for GDP growth over this period remains unchanged.

The Central Bank of Malta attended the launch of Titles to Talkies, a new publication by Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti exploring the history of film and cinema in Malta. The Bank supported the publication following a recommendation of the Advisory Board of the CBM Fund, its corporate social responsibility arm.
