Central Bank of Malta hosts World Bank Group representatives

The Central Bank of Malta hosted representatives from the World Bank Group Treasury on 26 and 27 October 2026 for discussions on reserve management.

During the two-day visit, representatives from both institutions exchanged views and experiences on a range of reserve-management topics, including governance and investment frameworks, strategic asset allocation, portfolio management and risk management.

The meetings provided an opportunity to discuss developments and practices in the management of financial assets and to exchange knowledge and expertise on areas of common interest.

The visit reflects the continued engagement between the Central Bank of Malta and the World Bank Group in the area of reserve management.
