Governor and Executives of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo on official visit to the Central Bank of Malta

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr Ahmet Ismaili, together with the Chairman of the Board, Professor Bashkim Nurboja, visited the Central Bank of Malta between 7 and 8 October 2024. The delegation also included two non-executive board members, Ms Nora Latifi Jashari and Ms Arta Hoxha. A meeting was held with the Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Malta, Mr Alexander Demarco, the Deputy Governor Mr Oliver Bonello, and Non-Executive Board of Directors member, Professor Frank Bezzina.

The visit was aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and fostering cooperation between the two central banks. Discussions in the field of Governance, Risk Management, Payment Operations and Systems, and Research, were held with the Chief Officers of the respective business areas at the Central Bank of Malta premises in Valletta.
