Five Central Bank employees celebrate their 25 years of service anniversary this year

Five members of staff celebrate their 25th Service Anniversary this year. These are Ms Elaine Aquilina, Mr Adrian Attard, Ms Kathleen Cutajar, Ms Julie Saliba and Mr Antoine Scicluna.

At a ceremony held in the Bank's Board room, the Governor of the Central Bank, Professor Edward Scicluna presented the staff members with a memento and a cheque. The Governor thanked the employees for their hard work, dedication and loyalty displayed throughout.

Present for the celebration were the two Deputy Governors, Mr Alexander Demarco and Mr Oliver Bonello, and the Bank's Chief Officers, Mr Paul Farrugia, Mr Daniele Romano and Mr Benoit Waelkens.

One of the employees, as a personal reciprocation, donated 25 hours of vacation leave to the Bank's Leave Fund for staff and donated a sum of money to the Bank's annual tree growing campaign as a benefit to the community.

The Governor thanked the employee for this noble gesture.
