The Governor of the Central Bank of Malta, Professor Edward Scicluna, visits Ġnien il-Mediterran in Paola on 25 May 2022 to launch this year's Central Bank of Malta tree planting initiative.
As part of its efforts towards contributing to environmental sustainability, the Bank regularly plants trees to support the offsetting of its CO₂ emissions. The Central Bank of Malta has been committed to its tree planting initiative since 2011 and has, along the years, continued to strengthen its commitment to partially offset its ecological footprint.
