Central Bank of Malta public lecture on Aviation in Malta
The Central Bank of Malta hosted a public lecture on Thursday 28 February 2019 by Ms Josephine Farrugia with the theme "Aviation in Malta". As part of its economic development strategy, Malta promotes diverse sectors in the aviation industry, including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations; back-office setups; R&D; and the production of aircraft parts. Malta also offers an attractive aviation register based on a solid regulatory framework, including that for Air Operator Certificates, coupled with a pro-business approach.
