Central Bank of Malta open during Notte Bianca

The Central Bank of Malta will once again be open during this year's Notte Bianca on Saturday, 6 October 2018. The Bank's main premises at Castille Place will be open to the public between 18:00 and 23:00.

Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the Bank's currency museum with its splendid selection of coins and banknotes in circulation in Malta over the ages, including a special exhibition of coins of the Order of St John. They will be able to purchase a variety of numismatic and collector coins, and preview the €100 and €200 banknotes to be issued in 2019. The public may also view an exhibition of works from the Bank's art collection including works of Gabriel Caruana, visit the Victor Pasmore Gallery and view a bonsai exhibition. Young musicians will also offer entertainment during the evening.

Further information is available from the Bank's website or by contacting the Malta Coin Centre on (+356) 2550 6006/7.
