The Central Bank of Malta attended the launch of Titles to Talkies, a new publication by Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti exploring the history of film and cinema in Malta. The Bank supported the publication following a recommendation of the Advisory Board of the CBM Fund, its corporate social responsibility arm.

During the International Coin Fair held in Berlin between 29 January and 31 January 2026, the Central Bank of Malta achieved two 3rd best ranking in ‘Les Amis De L’Euro’ awards.

During the third quarter of 2025, real GDP growth increased at a faster pace when compared with the preceding quarter. Growth was driven by domestic demand and net exports in almost equal proportion. The pace of expansion was more than double the average for the euro area.
