On Tuesday 17 January 2023, Central Bank of Malta Governor, Professor Edward Scicluna, was paid a courtesy visit by Architect David Xuereb, as the newly appointed chairperson of the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development (MCESD) on 9 January 2023.

The launching of the Governor’s (video) Blog is intended to reach out further to the public, and share knowledge on the current economic, monetary and fiscal policy, and the issues they are aimed to address. The Governor’s opinion is based on the current research work and reports of the Central Bank of Malta, the ECB and the other national central banks within the Eurosystem.
