The set consists of the eight Maltese euro coins as well as a €2 coin, depicting the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus who established with accuracy the order and distance of the known planets, that the earth rotated around the sun and ultimately created the Copernican Revolution.
All the coins in the set are in brilliant uncirculated quality and were struck at the Royal Dutch Mint. The national sides of the euro coins were designed by Noel Galea Bason, while the commemorative €2 coin was designed by Daniela Fusco. The sets, which will be limited to 10,000, are presented in an attractive and illustrated blister-pack.
