Ariana Bartolo is part of the Financial Stability Surveillance & Risk Assessment Department and has been working at the Bank since 2015. Her work specialises in analysing the resilience of the domestic banking sector and identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities. Ariana holds a Bachelor's (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Malta. She contributes to the Bank's Financial Stability Report and has authored numerous boxed articles, in particular on the Bank Lending Survey (BLS) and assessments on the real estate sector. She represents the Central Bank of Malta as a participant in the annual BLS meeting. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her family, travelling and playing the piano.
