Matthew Zammit is a Senior Expert in the International Relations Office of the Central Bank of Malta. His duties centre on the Bank's participation in international financial institutions, including the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group. He is a member of the International Relations Committee (IRC) and the Sub-Committee on the International Monetary Fund (SCIMF). His research and publications have focused on the role and functioning of international financial institutions in the global economy as well as trade, energy and the work of central banks in a changing global environment. He holds a MSc in International Political Economy from University College Dublin.
