Central Bank of Malta Acting Governor participates in the informal ECOFIN meeting in Warsaw, Poland
The Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Malta, Mr Alexander Demarco, participated in the informal Economic and Financial Affairs (ECOFIN) meeting held in Warsaw, Poland, on April 11-12, 2025.
The meeting, which was attended by EU Central Bank Governors and Finance Ministers, focused on enhancing the competitiveness of European financial markets, with a particular emphasis on the Savings and Investment Union and the role these markets play in fostering investment.
