The Central Bank of Malta signs the Malta Diversity and Inclusion Charter
On 20 March 2025, in line with its commitment to provide an equal and diverse workplace, the Central Bank of Malta signed the Malta Diversity & Inclusion Charter.

The Charter fosters higher Equality, Diversity and Inclusion standards. It is based on the key principles of Respect and Dignity, Equal Opportunities, Non-Discrimination, Inclusive Practices, Education and Awareness, Collaboration and Accountability.
The Charter was signed by Ms Helga Ellul, President of Corporate Citizenship for Responsible Enterprises (CORE) and Mr Alexander Demarco, Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Malta.

Mr Alexander Demarco stated that "As an inclusive and equal employer, the Bank aims at continuously promoting diversity and inclusion at the workplace thus contributing to a better and more equitable society.''
