Central Bank of Malta extends its collaboration with Caritas

The Central Bank of Malta has extended its collaboration with Fondazzjoni Caritas Malta, signing a new agreement aiming at prolonging its Employees Assistance Programme for a period of three years.

This agreement was signed by Governor Professor Edward Scicluna and the Director of Fondazzjoni Caritas Malta, Anthony Gatt.

Under this agreement, Caritas in liaison with the Training and Development Section within the Bank's Human Resources Department, will conduct various awareness and training sessions to Bank employees on the services offered and the benefits of the programme.

"The Bank places a strong emphasis on the welfare of its employees. It actively promotes a balanced approach between work and personal life, encouraging a healthy lifestyle amongst its staff. Particularly during challenging periods, the Bank ensures that assistance is readily available and that employees receive relevant training, underscoring its commitment to their well-being", Professor Scicluna said.

Mr Gatt thanked the Governor and the Board of the Central Bank of Malta for the continued support given to Caritas in its mission to help people in need, as well as the Bank's commitment for the well-being of its employees and their families through the Employee Assistance Programme.
