As a result of the pandemic, the Central Bank of Malta (the Bank) expects that after an estimated contraction of 8.2% in 2020, Malta’s gross domestic product (GDP), will grow by 5.0% in 2021, by 5.5% in 2022, and by 4.7% in 2023.
