Central Bank of Malta donates to Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation

The Central Bank of Malta has once again presented a donation to the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCFF), this year of €42,000.

Although it will not be attending L-Istrina this year, the Bank remains committed to assisting the Foundation with its important work, particularly this year when so many of its fundraising events were curtailed.

The Bank normally covers the cost of its employees participation in the Fun Run event, and also organises a dress down day, neither of which were held, apart from topping up the amount. In addition, the Bank’s Social Club donated the amount that would have been spent on staff events throughout the year. The Cultural Activities Committee also collected €925 from staff members for Pink October/Movember which is also being presented to the MCCFF.

The donation forms part of the Bank’s wide-ranging Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
