The Cultural Activities Committee of the Central Bank of Malta donates over €2,000 in support of Europa Donna Malta
The Cultural Activities Committee of the Central Bank of Malta donated a total of €2,000 to Europa Donna Malta to support its vital role in promoting breast cancer awareness and offering support to survivors across Malta.
The money was collected from the staff during a fundraising campaign that ran throughout the Pink October and Blue Movember awareness months and culminated in a presentation ceremony held at the Central Bank of Malta on 23 December 2025.
When presenting this donation, the Governor Professor Edward Scicluna stated that supporting initiatives that strengthen our community is an important part of the Bank's mission. He emphasised that Europa Donna Malta carries out invaluable work, and that the Bank is proud to contribute to its efforts to improve the lives of breast cancer patients and survivors. The donation will aid patients, survivors, and their families throughout the entire cancer journey - from diagnosis and treatment to recovery and life beyond.
