The President of Malta, acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, in accordance with the provisions of article 8(1) of the Central Bank of Malta Act (Cap. 204), has approved the appointment of Mr Alexander Demarco as Deputy Governor for Monetary Policy and of Mr Oliver Bonello as Deputy Governor for Financial Stability, with effect from 1 July 2017.
