A delegation of Senior officials from the U.S. Treasury in Washington D.C. headed by Ms Sarah Senich, Deputy Director of the Office of Europe and Eurasia, and accompanied by Ms Lexie Judd, Economic Research Analyst at the Office of Europe and Eurasia, together with Mr Jonathan Stafford, Political/Economic Chief and Mr Matthew Bugeja from the Unites States Embassy in Malta met with Central Bank of Malta Governor, Professor Edward Scicluna, Deputy Governors, Mr Alexander Demarco and Mr Oliver Bonello together with Dr Aaron Grech, Chief Economist at the Bank. The officials are visiting Malta and several countries in Western Europe to discuss about macroeconomic developments, and to understand the views of experts in the country.
