Membru tal-Bord ta’ Amministraturi tal-Fondazzjoni Bank Ċentrali ta’ Malta stabbilit bħala professur ordinarju

Il‑Professur Yosanne Vella BEd (Hons), MA (Lond), MPhil (Lond), PhD (UWE Bristol), membru tal‑Bord ta’ Amministraturi tal‑Fondazzjoni Bank Ċentrali ta’ Malta, ġiet stabbilita bħala professur ordinarju fil‑Fakultà tal‑Edukazzjoni fl‑Università ta’ Malta, li tispeċjalizza fil‑pedagoġija tal‑istorja. 

Prof. Vella, li tħarreġ lill‑għalliema tal‑istorja u li għandha interess speċjali fl‑istorja tan‑nisa ‑ partikolarment in‑nisa Maltin tas‑seklu 18 ‑ kienet viċi‑president tal‑Kumitat għall‑Edukazzjoni u l‑Kultura tal‑NGOs fil‑Kunsill tal‑Ewropa sal‑2014, u hija waħda mill‑edituri tal‑portal edukattiv Historiana żviluppat minn Euroclio, il‑European History Educators’ Network, u ambaxxatriċi ta’ Euroclio. Hi qiegħda fuq il‑bord editorjali ta' għadd ta’ ġurnali inkluż l‑International History Journal tal‑History Educators’ International Research Network (Heirnet).

Yosanne Vella

Hi ppubblikat diversi kotba, manwali skolastiċi, studji u riżorsi għat‑tagħlim tal‑istorja, kif ukoll għadd ta’ studji dwar l‑istorja u l‑istorjografija Maltija. Kienet il‑Viċi‑President tas‑Soċjetà Storika ta’ Malta u hija l‑President tal‑Għaqda tal‑Għalliema tal‑Istorja.
