Forbes Middle East interviewed Central Bank of Malta's Governor Edward Scicluna to discuss Malta's exceptional economic growth. Professor Scicluna stated that although Malta went through partial lockdowns, "The pandemic found the financial service industry well prepared for any eventuality which stressed the system". He also further emphasised that the Central Bank of Malta has been at the forefront in pushing government loans for businesses.
