The Governor of the Central Bank of Malta, Professor Edward Scicluna addressed the opening session of a number of workshops as part of the implementation phase of a new Treasury Management System. This system is used for the processing of Reserve and Treasury Market Operations with the view to raise the efficiency of financial market operations.

Professor Scicluna concluded his address by saying, “This project brings to the fore the advantages that membership of the Eurosystem conveys to the Bank in its service to the country.”
