On 18 July 2023, the Central Bank of Malta launched a numismatic coin issue commemorating the Għaqda Każini tal-Banda (GħKB) which this year is celebrating its 75^th Anniversary. The Governor said that band clubs in Malta and Gozo are part and parcel of the social and culture of the Maltese islands, and have, over the years, established themselves as an insitution in the core of every town and village, aimed at spreading Maltese culture and teaching of music. Band clubs have remained relevant today.

Dr Camilleri thanked the Governor and the Bank for choosing the Association's 75^th anniversary for the commemorative coins issue.
