Auberge de Castille


The Central Bank of Malta is offering for sale its first silver and gold proof collector coins denominated in euro. These coins are being issued under the Europa Programme 2008 with the theme of ‘Cultural Heritage’. The coins were struck at the Royal Dutch Mint. The obverse of the coin shows the Coat of Arms of the Maltese Republic and the year of issue 2008. The reverse depicts an image of the ‘Auberge de Castille’, the ‘Europa Star’ (which is the official logo of this program) and the face value of the coin.

The coins are available for sale from the Malta Coin Distribution Centre counter at the main building of the Central Bank of Malta or by completing the application form below.
